How Does Local Image to PDF Conversion Work?
Converting a stack of JPEG photos—such as scanned receipts or ID cards—into a single PDF file used to require heavy desktop software or a dangerous trip to a 'free' cloud conversion website. Uploading gigabytes of personal imagery to unknown third-party servers is a massive privacy risk.
Utiliome operates using modern WebAssembly (Wasm) technology. When you drag your images into the tool, the browser reads them into its secure local RAM. Our Wasm engine generates a blank PDF dictionary tree locally, maps each image onto a new page, and instantly outputs the final file back to your hard drive.
Because there is no network transfer, a task that used to take 5 minutes of uploading now happens in a matter of milliseconds.
